The baby gate didn't become a big factor until Saturday the 25th. Kelly was on the computer, I was watching TV, and we noticed it was AWFULLY quiet.
"Jack?........Jack?"
Not very comforting when you discover your child looking down at you from the upstairs hallway.
Really, he's getting along fine. This past weekend he got to see his Uncle Javid for only the 2nd time--Javid is back from a year in Iraq. Kelly and I drove down over Labor Day to see him, and Jack showed off the walking skills for him and all the cousins, aunts, uncles, and Grammy and Poppy.
You may notice the pictures below where he's on the scale and in the bin of blocks. We can't figure this out. Anything bin/box-shaped, and he wants to sit in/on it. Even with the scale, he gets his entire body on, including feet.
Also, the ice cream. The kid begs like a dog when he sees a fudge-sicle. So pathetic. I blame his mother.
But he hasn't figured out how to read it while sitting on it.
This one doesn't move like the one up stairs.
MMMMM this chocolate ice cream is good,
but why are you wearing a pink shirt, daddy?.

For a good laugh watch this..
There he goes... Somehow we thought his eyes should be open.
